Two Months (Online Volunteer Roles)

Social Media Coordinator

Volunteers will help manage OSFF’s social media accounts, promoting the festival, engaging with followers, and creating posts to drive online engagement. Tasks include scheduling posts, designing graphics, and updating festival-related content.

Film Review and Selection Assistant

Volunteers will assist the programming team by watching and reviewing film submissions. They’ll help prepare reports, rank films, and identify standout works to be shortlisted for the festival.

Marketing & Outreach Support

Volunteers will research potential media outlets, influencers, and partnerships to increase the festival’s reach. They’ll also draft emails and content for newsletters or blogs to promote OSFF to different audiences.

Three Days (On-Site Volunteer Roles)

Guest Relations
Volunteers will assist with welcoming filmmakers, guests, and attendees to the festival. They’ll help provide information, direct guests to different areas, and ensure smooth communication between participants and festival organizers.

Event Logistics Support
Volunteers will help with the on-ground setup and smooth running of the festival. Tasks include organizing seating arrangements, distributing festival materials, and ensuring that all events stay on schedule.

Screening Coordinator
Volunteers will work with the tech team to ensure the films are screened smoothly. They’ll assist with managing screening schedules, helping set up projectors, and troubleshooting any technical issues during screenings.

Merchandise and Ticket Sales
Volunteers will manage the sale of tickets, festival merchandise, and handle payments at the festival venue. They’ll assist in managing customer service and organizing inventory.

Photography and Videography Support
Volunteers will capture key moments of the festival through photos and videos, documenting the events, screenings, and behind-the-scenes moments. They’ll also assist with live social media updates during the festival.
